Hola friends! These kitties have not fallen off the face of the earth! They have been busy sun bathing in the 81 degree weather~! Good news : Both kitties happily drink from the drink well! Second bit of good news: kitties got a new cat-grass plant!

Nicole has a new "fav" spot to rest her kitty bones. I think she likes the sun beams that cast apon her and the cool breeze from the open window!

Saturday, a sun beam caught and Nicole and she fell asleep!


I was trying to get Nicole some more internet fame, and put "stuff on her" but she would only pose like this!! Still cute ;)
(Below) Nicole is helping Ashley write so many computer programs! Or maybe they are looking at LOST spoilers!


This morning Nicole took my spot while i was making coffee, and made Ash late for work by being soooooooo cute!

Right now, Nicole is STILL sleeping, I think this Garfield sums up her mood!

Morning! Today i set up a little "photo backdrop" for these kitties, but only the bobble chicks were willing to pose, at first...


I then lured Nicole with a Greenie,....
I got this nice profile picture when Nicole was looking at Bailey, who was looking for me, for her treat!

And finally, Nicole posing with the bobble chicks!

Good evening! These kitties may not have updated this morning but, they had no boring day! To make up for the late update I have added a serious of ADORABLE Bailey pictures! (Taken today)



News on the Bailey front: She is incredibly good at catching fruit flies! We had some cat grass in the window (empty spot below) left for a day and the grass was ridden with about 10 fruit flies. Depicted below is one Bailey got to, poor thing never saw it commin.
The picture below was taken around 9am. The cats seem to be posing for the blog, but Ashley is actually dangling a bobble chik (cutest toy ever) behind to get these kitties to look at the camera!

Nicole chilled much of the morning in the Petco "item of the week" circa October of 2008. We try not to bother her as much since she is a senior. She will be 9, May 12th!

Friday /Funday 4.10.09

Good news! One of the kitties (Nicole Ritchie) drank from the fountain!! She was promptly rewarded with 2 Greenies after said drink took place, and I was lucky enough to capture proof on my cell phone:
Bailey has yet to even walk near the fountain, so I gave in and put her old water bowl back out...

This morning was rather uneventful. This may be due to the rain/cold, so window is closed. But, we also had a late night which could be making kitties tired today! They may also just be lazy. but TGIF!

Bailey played with her bobble chick for a bit:
After 4 minutes she became a bread loaf, and less amused with me shoving feathers in her face.
I have captured the "loaf" below.



Nicole has been/will remain sleeping on this red blanket I left on the floor. We assume she thinks a thrown... Happy Friday, MEOW!

Sunny Thursday

Shown above (left of Nicole) is the Drinkwell Pet Fountain "A waterfall of health for your pets." This drinking fountain was bought for these kitties last night. We (Ashley and Steph "kitties caretakers") deemed this fountain to be such an important investment, we almost missed LOST to purchase it. These kitties have yet to drink from it, except to lick the mat where the h2o has splashed out. We are offering many treats for any kitty to please try this $58.00 drinking fountain that will add years to their life! It is suppose to promote drinking and lead to less UTI's etc... and like humans kitties need to drink so much water! I will post later on fountain drinking updates. ;)

Nicole was happily laying in the sun this morning. She had a tough morning of eating and pooping on the rug outside her litter box. So pleased the sun is finally out, she took advantage of a rather warm spot on the ground. Until....

Bailey ATTACKED!!!! Bailey was jealous of this warm sun soaking spot on the carpet that Nicole had found. She silently stood on top of Nicole until the moment was right (shown above) and then proceeded to "wake up" Nicole by scratching her in the face! So now,


Bailey is laying in the warm spot. And little Nicole Ritchie is doing some bird watching.

4.8.2009 Where is Spring?

Bailey is chilling in the window. Currently she is listening to Pinkerton by Weezer. She wishers the window was open so she could squawk at birds, but it's only 43 degrees in Pittsburgh today!

Nicole Ritchie (The calico) is sleepy so, also grumpy that Bailey is blasting Weezer in her space! She will be happy to nap later in the day! She had a treat and breakfast so this kitty is ready for some z's
